Horses to Morskie Oko only to Wodogrzmoty waterfall from September
From 1 September, the Tatra National Park is launching a pilot scheme in which horse-drawn carriages from Palenica Białczańska will end their route at the Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza waterfall, roughly 3 km into the trail, instead of going all the way to Morskie Oko (7 km). Climate and Environment Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska said she personally negotiated the agreement with the coachmen last year. The arrangement is being run on a trial basis.
