Volkswagen electric car for €20,000 — VW Poland CEO on competing with China

Carla Wentzel, CEO of Volkswagen Group Polska, says the group plans to offer an electric Volkswagen at around €20,000 as a response to growing competition from Chinese manufacturers. She acknowledges that Chinese carmakers have changed the rules of the game and are forcing Volkswagen to rethink its pricing strategy. Volkswagen currently leads the Polish automotive market.
