Rodenticides pose deadly threat to storks in Podkarpacie region
A researcher from the University of Rzeszów warns that rodenticides used to control mice and rats pose a deadly threat to white storks in the Podkarpacie region. The birds die from secondary poisoning after eating contaminated rodents. Podkarpacie is one of the most important stork nesting areas in Poland.
