Germany: Ukrainian draft-age men must prove military exemption for protection
Germany now requires Ukrainian refugees of military age to present proof of exemption from military service before receiving temporary protection status. Those staying in the country without meeting this condition face deportation. The German interior ministry confirmed the new rules in response to questions from Deutsche Welle.
