White House: US loses $19–26B a year as China launders exports through 40+ countries

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro told reporters that the US is losing between $19 billion and $26 billion a year in tariff revenue as countries help China circumvent American duties. Navarro said China is laundering its exports through more than 40 countries to avoid US tariffs. The Trump administration views this as a major threat to federal revenue.
