Who were the AK's executioners? They carried out death sentences on traitors
The Home Army's (AK) liquidation squads were special units that carried out death sentences handed down by underground courts against traitors and collaborators during World War II. Before an execution, the condemned was read their sentence: "You have been sentenced to death for treason against the Polish state; the sentence will be carried out immediately." Both Polish collaborators with the Germans and Gestapo agents were targeted.
