Indonesia wildfires threaten orangutans rescued from wildlife traffickers

Record wildfires in Indonesia have come within metres of an orangutan rehabilitation centre in West Kalimantan, where animals rescued from wildlife traffickers are being cared for. Hot, dry and windy conditions amplified by El Niño and the climate crisis are driving the blazes. The centre and its animals face a direct and immediate threat.
