Third Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever case confirmed in Spain — one dead

Spanish health authorities have confirmed the third case of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever this year. One of the patients died — the disease carries a very high fatality rate. Experts are warning that the virus represents an "emerging threat in Europe".
