Polish Military Cartographic Works shut down — staff owe tens of thousands in unpaid wages
The Polish Military Cartographic Works, a nearly 80-year-old company that printed maps for the army and for school-leaving exams, is being wound up without a president capable of paying staff their outstanding wages. Individual employees are owed tens of thousands of zlotys each. The company changed hands several times — passing through the Defence Ministry, the State Assets Ministry, Polish Post and the Industrial Development Agency — before landing in liquidation.
