Romanowski reportedly in Transnistria — experts question reach of Polish intelligence
A letter signed by fugitive Polish politician Marcin Romanowski was sent from Tiraspol, the capital of the pro-Russian breakaway region of Transnistria. Former ABW counter-intelligence officer Major Anna Grabowska-Siwiec said she cannot imagine a Polish intelligence mission operating in territory under direct Russian oversight. Former ambassador to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki stated that diplomatic and intelligence tools should be working in this case, but clearly are not.
