Metaplanet: $320M Bitcoin transfer was custody move, not a sale

Tokyo-listed Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet has denied selling $320 million worth of Bitcoin. Its CEO clarified that a transfer of 5,014 BTC was a custody move, not a sale. The company simultaneously launched BitBonds, a fixed-rate debt programme aimed at funding further Bitcoin purchases.
