Poland cuts financial aid to Ukraine as other European countries increase theirs

Poland has reduced its financial contribution to Ukraine at a time when other European countries have stepped up their support following cuts in US aid, says Marek Ziółkowski, former Polish ambassador to Ukraine and author of an analysis for the Batory Foundation titled "Poland's Aid to Ukraine: Bare Facts and a Bitter Diagnosis." Ziółkowski states bluntly that Poland did "the opposite" of most EU partners. In financial terms, Poland is becoming less visible in the coalition backing Kyiv.
