Germany may deport Ukrainian men of military age staying illegally

Germany's Interior Ministry has confirmed to Deutsche Welle that Ukrainian citizens, including men of military age, can be deported if general legal grounds exist. Berlin does not rule out expelling Ukrainians staying in the country illegally. Germany has so far granted Ukrainians temporary protection status, but illegal residency changes their legal standing.
