Alan Jones trial: driver made broadcaster soft-boiled eggs and ironed his underpants
Former Australian radio star Alan Jones, 85, is on trial in Sydney facing 22 indecent assault and sexual touching charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty. The court heard that complainant C, hired for $40,000 a year as Jones's driver in the mid-2000s, was also required to cook the broadcaster's soft-boiled eggs, clean his bathroom and iron his underpants. The witness told Downing Centre local court he had been "star-struck" when Jones offered him the job.
