Fungal outbreak on pitch forces postponement of Celta Vigo vs Osasuna in La Liga

Celta Vigo's season-opening La Liga match against Osasuna has been postponed after a fungal outbreak rendered the pitch at Estadio de Balaidos unfit for football. The decision was agreed by both clubs and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) following a technical inspection by La Liga. The fixture had been scheduled for Sunday.
