Poland targets 159 combat aircraft in a decade, with talks under way on more F-35s

The first FA-50 Husarz fighters landed at Łask air base in June, while a modernisation line for F-16 Jastrząb jets is being prepared in Bydgoszcz. Talks are under way in Washington on a fourth major loan that could fund additional F-35 purchases. Poland's air force is targeting a fleet of 159 combat aircraft within a decade.
