Bitcoin down ~50% from record high, but VanEck analysts call it a normal cycle

Bitcoin has fallen from an all-time high of roughly $126,080 to trade in the low $60,000s — a decline of nearly 50%. Asset manager VanEck argues in a new report that the slump tracks Bitcoin's historical four-year halving cycle, in which a bear phase regularly follows the halving. VanEck's GEO framework shows two of three signals at neutral and ecosystem leverage in constructive territory.
