Anthropic quietly watermarks all text generated by its newest Claude models

Anthropic has embedded an invisible, machine-readable watermark into every piece of text produced by its newest Claude AI models, without publicly disclosing how it works. The company has not explained the technical details of the system. Some developers are already attempting to break or circumvent the watermark.
