Poland foils Russian plot to kill Ukrainian American in Warsaw
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that Polish security services thwarted a Russian plot to assassinate a Ukrainian American citizen in Warsaw. Tusk described it as the first known instance of Russia ordering an attack on a US citizen on the territory of a NATO member state. The plot was foiled before it could be carried out.
