Netflix shuts down Night School Studio and another game studio

Netflix is shutting down two of its internal game development studios, including Night School Studio — creators of the Oxenfree series, acquired by Netflix in 2021. The studio had recently released a horror experience called Unhinged. The move reflects Netflix's broader retreat from in-house game development in favour of party games and TV-streamed titles.
