NORAD Deputy Commander: US Cannot Defend Against Drone Swarm Attack at Home

Army Lt. Gen. Joseph Jarrard, deputy commander of NORTHCOM and NORAD, bluntly told an audience at the Space and Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville, Alabama, that the US lacks the sensors and weapons to counter a drone swarm attack on home soil. "We are ill-equipped right now to handle something like that," he said. He acknowledged drone warfare is being used daily around the world and that the US has yet to find a solution.
