Massive gas stream may have tilted planet-forming disk in GW Orionis triple-star system

Astronomers have found evidence that a giant stream of gas flowing into the young triple-star system GW Orionis may have tilted its planet-forming disk. The finding offers a new explanation for why some planetary systems are misaligned relative to their stars.
