Boeing ordered to pay $29m to family of Irish plane crash victim Michael Ryan

A Chicago jury awarded $29 million in damages to the family of Michael Ryan, an Irish victim of a plane crash, after his widow Naoise Connolly Ryan brought a civil lawsuit against Boeing. The verdict was delivered in a US federal court in Chicago. The case adds to Boeing's growing legal and financial liabilities over aircraft safety.
