Wildfires reach Greece's Chalkidiki Peninsula, over 300 evacuated

Wildfires that have been burning across Greece for several days reached the Chalkidiki Peninsula in the north of the country on Thursday. More than 300 tourists and residents were evacuated from the coastal town of Siviri, according to authorities. Chalkidiki is a popular summer holiday destination for foreign tourists.
