Kosiniak-Kamysz threatened to pull all nominations in battle over general promotions

Tense negotiations between the Defence Ministry and the Presidential Palace over this year's general promotions continued until the last moment. Deputy PM Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz threatened to withdraw all nominations after President Nawrocki's aides sought to remove respected line officers from the list. The dispute narrowly avoided becoming a public scandal.
