Polish government allocates 76.5M PLN for eastern municipalities' climate adaptation plans

The Polish government has approved financial support of 76.5 million PLN for 15 local authorities in eastern Poland to develop urban climate adaptation plans. The funds are intended to help municipalities prepare for extreme weather events such as heavy rainfall and record heatwaves. The initiative targets regions of Eastern Poland particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
