Expert: In Putin's Russia, organised crime and the state have fully merged
Commentator Zbigniew Parafianowicz argued on the programme "Dzieje" that Putin's Russia has seen a complete merger of the state apparatus and organised crime. According to him, Russian criminal networks operate in service of the security services — "criminals run errands for the FSB men." He analysed the mechanisms by which the Kremlin uses criminal structures to pursue its goals.
