Judges' error with wrongly set bar causes chaos in decathlon pole vault at European Athletics Championships

A judging error at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham threw the decathlon pole vault into chaos after the bar was incorrectly set. Part of the competition had to be re-run as a result. Officials acknowledged the incident had completely disrupted the course of the event.
