Paramount considers editorial board for CNN to safeguard independence

Paramount Skydance has been discussing the creation of an editorial board for CNN to address concerns about the network's independence following its acquisition of parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Talks have been ongoing for several months. The board would be intended to guarantee CNN's journalistic independence.
