Gaza beekeepers rebuild amid rubble — war destroyed over 95% of the bee industry
Gaza's beekeepers are trying to rebuild after the war wiped out more than 95% of the bee sector, according to Ibrahim al-Dabbeh, head of the Cooperative Association of Beekeepers in the Gaza Strip. Survivors are collecting small amounts of honey from the few remaining colonies. Rebuilding the hives is seen as an attempt to revive an industry on the brink of extinction.
