Prime Minister Donald Tusk has confirmed that Maciej Berek, the outgoing minister for government policy implementation, will be nominated as a candidate for the Constitutional Tribunal. The announcement was also commented on by Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Presidential Chancellery, aligned with President Nawrocki's camp. Berek is leaving his ministerial post.
