Tusk on MyDr data breach affecting 19 million Poles: likely a criminal ransom attempt

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the leak of medical data belonging to 19 million Poles from the company MyDr is most likely a purely criminal act — specifically a ransomware extortion attempt targeting the firm. Tusk stressed that no country in the world can guarantee 100% data security. He addressed the breach at a press conference on Thursday.
