Poland's fuel VAT cut returns Aug 17–31, saving up to over 1 złoty per litre

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the reactivation of the CPN fuel programme from 17 to 31 August. Cutting fuel VAT from 23% to 8% is expected to reduce prices by roughly 90 grosze to over one złoty per litre. Tusk acknowledged that restarting the programme involved significant logistical difficulties.
