Horses to Morskie Oko will work a shorter route from September
From September 1, a pilot programme will change the horse-drawn transport model on the route to Morskie Oko in the Tatra Mountains. Horses will operate on a shorter, less steep section of the road to reduce the strain on the animals. The change follows a letter of intent signed in 2025, ending years of disputes between environmental groups and tourism businesses.
