Flock boss admits firm was too slow to act on police misuse of licence plate cameras

The CEO of Flock Safety, a maker of automated licence plate reading (ALPR) cameras, has admitted the company took too long to respond to police officers abusing the surveillance technology. Some US officers lost their jobs after using the cameras to track romantic partners. Flock supplies surveillance systems to numerous police departments across the United States.
