African football chief: Infantino's FIFA future should be decided by election

Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), said Thursday that FIFA president Gianni Infantino's future at the organisation should be decided through an election. The statement came amid heavy criticism of Infantino's bid to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors. Motsepe did not rule out standing as a candidate himself, saying the decision ultimately rests with voters.
