Polish Health Ministry backs cutting 23% VAT on bottled water

Bottled water in Poland is taxed at 23% VAT — one of the highest rates in the EU for this product. The Ministry of Health has publicly backed reducing the rate, while the Ministry of Finance has not yet made any changes but has not ruled them out. No decision has been taken.
