Romanowski hiding in Transnistria? Ex-spy chief: Russia must have an interest
Former deputy justice minister Marcin Romanowski is reportedly hiding in Transnistria, a pro-Russian breakaway region of Moldova. Maciej Matysiak, director of the National Security Department and former head of the Military Counterintelligence Service, told Wirtualna Polska that Romanowski's presence there would be impossible without Russian intelligence approval. Matysiak added that Russia only takes such steps when it sees a clear benefit in doing so.
