Ukrainian ombudsman: Russia executed at least 345 POWs since full-scale invasion

Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets reported that at least 345 Ukrainian soldiers who had laid down their weapons and clearly signalled surrender were killed by Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion. The executions were reportedly carried out at close range. Such killings constitute serious violations of international law and the Geneva Conventions.
