German historian: Russia would need months or years to reach the Oder river

Historian Eckard Michels told WELT that even if Russia were to attack, it would take months or years for its forces to reach the Oder river given Moscow's current military capabilities. Michels also discussed the possibility of reinstating conscription in Germany and assessed what the German army could do in the event of a Russian attack.
