ORP Wicher launched — Poland's first Miecznik-programme frigate hits the water

The ORP Wicher, the first frigate built under Poland's Miecznik programme, was launched in Gdynia. The vessel measures over 140 metres and is designed to bolster Poland's air defence and protect maritime routes and energy infrastructure.
