Romanowski in Transnistria? His lawyer confirms he is outside the EU

A letter signed by Marcin Romanowski arrived at the Warsaw district court, sent from Tiraspol — the capital of Russian-backed separatist Transnistria. The former deputy justice minister requests a safe-conduct letter in the document. His lawyer has confirmed that Romanowski is currently outside the European Union.
