Prosecutors drop charges against councillor who called President Nawrocki "Shrek"
Prosecutors have dropped charges against Wojciech Ślusarczyk of the PSL party, a councillor and member of the Radomszczański county board, who had been accused of insulting President Karol Nawrocki and his wife Marta Nawrocka by calling him "Shrek." Ślusarczyk had been due to stand trial, but prosecutors reversed course and withdrew the accusation. The case concerned the offence of insulting the head of state.
