Former Catholic bishop convicted of 13 sex offences against Aboriginal men

Christopher Alan Saunders, 76, former Bishop of Broome in Western Australia, was found guilty of 13 sexual offences against two young Aboriginal men on Thursday following a jury trial in the West Australian district court. He was acquitted of six other charges. Saunders was known for hosting alcohol-fuelled, shirts-off parties at which the alleged abuse took place.
