July inflation confirmed at 3.0% — fuel up, food and footwear down

Poland's Central Statistical Office confirmed July CPI inflation at 3.0% year-on-year. Fuel prices were the main upward driver, but falling food, clothing and footwear prices kept the reading in check. Without those declines, the headline figure would have been noticeably higher.
