Gen. Polko: Romanowski in Transnistria poses extreme threat to Poland
General Roman Polko stated that the presence of former deputy justice minister Marcin Romanowski in Transnistria — a zone fully controlled by Russia — is no accident and must have received Kremlin approval. Romanowski holds knowledge of Poland's most sensitive state mechanisms, which Polko described as an extreme security threat. Transnistria is an unrecognised separatist republic where Russia controls who may stay and on what terms.
