Rob Reiner's son faces new charges — prosecutors weigh death penalty

Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, has been hit with new charges in a double first-degree murder case. The couple were killed with a sharp object at their Los Angeles home on 14 December 2025. California prosecutors have not yet decided whether to seek the death penalty, which is carried out by lethal injection in the state.
