Severe weather hits Poland — up to 43 mm of rain in Silesia and Lesser Poland

After a hot spell, a powerful rain front is set to hit Poland on Monday. In a single day, between 20 and 43 mm of rain may fall across southern and central regions. The worst conditions are expected in Silesia, Lesser Poland and the Częstochowa area, where heavy rainfall could cause localised flooding.
