Oil spill from suspected Russian shadow-fleet tanker reaches Oman's coastline

Oman's Environment Authority has confirmed that oil from a tanker believed to be part of Russia's shadow fleet has reached the beaches of Ras Madrakah on mainland Oman, around 200 kilometres north of Qabiliyah Island. Authorities are continuing to monitor the spread of the spill, which has contaminated further stretches of coastline.
