Soft drinks up 5.6%, fats down 14.3% — retail price report for July

Retail prices in Poland rose by an average of 1.9 percent year on year in July, according to a report by UCE Research and WSB Merito University. Soft drinks saw the biggest increase at 5.6 percent, partly linked to preparations for the deposit-return system. Fats recorded the sharpest price drop at 14.3 percent, driven by high production levels of oil and butter.
